As reported previously, all eight of the initial Callow Avenue houses being redeveloped through the Callow Avenue redevelopment project by the Healthy Neighborhoods-Druid Heights CDC-RHIC partnership are under contract. Two have gone to settlement as of the time of this writing. One more is scheduled for settlement this week, and two more are scheduled for later in May. Two more will settle in June and the last one will go to settlement in July.
An additional grant from the State of Maryland has allowed the partnership to acquire and rehab for sale four more buildings. One, 2229 Callow Avenue, has been acquired. Three more on the 2300 block of Callow Avenue are in the process of being acquired.
