JOIN US FOR THE UNVEILING OF THE WEST NORTH AVENUE STREETSCAPE CONCEPTUAL MASTER PLAN

Friends & Neighbors,

We are very excited to announce the unveiling of the new West North Avenue Streetscape Conceptual Master Plan.  As most of you know, 7th District Councilman Mosby brought Neighborhood Design Center (NDC) together with three well-established, community-based organizations that operate along the North Avenue corridor—Reservoir Hill Improvement Council (RHIC), Coppin Heights Community Development Corporation (Coppin Heights CDC) and the Druid Heights Community Development Corporation (Druid Heights CDC), to coordinate the development of the plan. For the last year and a half we have worked to gather community ideas through surveys, community meetings, and smaller meetings.  Supporters walked North Avenue surveying pedestrians, bus users, and bike riders.  We even had a snowball stand on North AvenueThe partners have worked and reworked plans based on what we were hearing, and think we have all created a transformative plan that will help North Avenue become a better connector of our neighborhoods and more welcoming to all.

Council Mosby’s office, the Neighborhood Design Center and Core Stakeholders will be hosting an unveiling to celebrate the work that has been done with the plan on:

Thursday, September 3, 2015
at the Arch Social Club, located 2426 Pennsylvania Ave., 21217
from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

We encourage everyone to attend and look forward to seeing you all
