Two Days of Cleaning & Greening in Reservoir Hill

This year’s Reservoir Hill participation in the Mayor’s Spring Clean spanned two days with neighbors working together on several activities.

More than 40 people participated in Day 1 activities planting trees and cleaning up an alley.

Ten new trees were planted on the 2000 block of Linden Avenue and on Ducatel with Blue Water Baltimore and volunteers.

On the alley between the 2500 blocks of Lakeview and Brookfield we cleared a dump site, put up decorative string to protect the site . . .

and gave out trash cans and recycling bins to neighbors who did not have them.  . Many thanks to Waterfront Partnership and Baltimore City Department of Public Works!!!

Next up for the alley:  We are bringing together Brookfield and Lakeview neighbors in June to install planters with roses.

On Day 2 of greening activities in Reservoir Hill this weekend, more than 20 adults and many children from Beth Am Synagogue, Reservoir Hill’s Girl Scout Troop, and the community spread mulch at German Park and planted two trees.
