How to make salsa at Whitelock Community Farm

Freshly picked tomatoes, peppers, and onions from Whitelock Community Farm (8/11/11)

Whitelock Community Farm hosted a salsa-making class yesterday for a group of summer camp kids participating in Baltimore Housing's Family Food & Fitness Day at John Eager Howard Recreation Center. Follow these easy steps to make the freshest salsa you'll ever have:

Pick your tomatoes:

Pick your onions:

Cut your peppers (watch out for the hot ones):

Wash all the fresh vegetables:

Make sure the tomatoes taste good:

Add the lime (though you might have to leave Whitelock Community Farm to find one):

Squeeze the lime over the mixing bowl:
