Beth Am's Rabbi Burg Reflects on the Unrest in Baltimore and Committment to Our Urban Communities

Beth Am Synagogue's Rabbi Daniel Cotzin Burg published an insightful article, "A View from Reservoir Hill," in the Jewish Review of Books reflecting on the recent unrest in Baltimore and the need for Jewish urban congregations to be fully present and participating in the urban communities.  Beth Am is one of the few congregations that never left urban Baltimore, and is now deeply engaged in the Reservoir Hill community and the recreating of Jewish urban life.   You have to subscribe to read the full article, but you can read the introduction here, and you download a PDF of the article below.
