Community Activity Starts on South Lots

The work of dozens of people, with significant financial support from Healthy Neighborhoods, Chesapeake Bay Trust, and Baltimore Community Foundation, transforming a large area of vacant land on the southwest corner of Whitelock and Brookfield into an attractive community park has come to fruition as community activities began on the park.

We thank Baltimore Community Foundation for holding its annual staff picnic on the state, and for bringing many neighbors, youth and adults, into the event.

Next up: Antique Fleamarkets on the Whitlock community park. Reservoir Hill resident Doris Brown is holding an Antique Fleamarket on the new park at Whitelock & Brookfield the first Saturday of every month from 7:00 am – 2:00 pm starting in July: 6 July, 1 August., 5 September, 3 October, and 5 November.  Drop by and see what treasures Doris has come up with.  If you have questions, call Doris at (904) 651-3231.

Would you like to hold a family or community event in the park?  Call the RHIC office at 410.225.7547 to schedule.
