JHU President's Day of Service volunteers at Whitelock Community Farm (9/24/11)

This past Saturday a group of 40 Johns Hopkins University students came to Reservoir Hill as part of JHU's President's Day of Service, in which 800 students, faculty, and staff work on community projects around Baltimore City. In Reservoir Hill, the students helped spread mulch and dirt at Whitelock Community Farm, weed at Reservoir Hill Community Garden, and collect planting debris at Lennox St. Community Garden. And for the first time in recent memory, a large work day in Reservoir Hill involved neither torrential rains nor the shrill drone of a bobcat.
